About MeBorn and raised in Rochester, NY, my passion for the written word came at an early age. I was an avid reader as a child, a fan of books by Judy Bloom and Shel Silverstein. As a teenager, I would bury my face in newspapers and magazines to stay on top of the latest in news and entertainment. It was about this time that I began writing poetry every night, filling notebook after notebook.
While enrolled at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, I worked on the college newspaper. Internships in public relations, promotions, and journalism gave me a broad view and experience in the communications field, but those experiences solidified my love of the written word. After graduating with a degree in Communications/Journalism, I began work as a freelance writer. I have been writing steadily for local publications since then, as well as copy editing and proofreading the work of others. Today I write/copy edit whatever I can for whomever is interested: press releases, newsletters, web copy, articles, novels, copy for brochures, etc. Contact me about your project today! |
